FIT TIPS
Generally fits true to UK sizing (like other retailers), but as our Third-Party print fulfiller uses international brands such as Cotton Heritage, Rabbit Skins, Stanley-Stella, Beechfield, and Bella + Canvas, the garments tend to be slightly more fitted - slimmer and longer than most standard retail fits on the UK high-street.
The width measurements refer to a half chest size. In the UK we have a 'to fit chest' sizing guide, which is calculated by the full body circumference. To find the circumference you require, simply multiply the width measurements in the table, by 2.
For example a L would give you a circumference (all the way around) measurement of 111.8cm.
55.9 x 2 = 111.8cm or 44". In international sizing a 44 chest is generally an XL so in this case, you would need to size up.
Most people prefer a garment that is at least 5-10cm wider than their actual body measurement for a standard fit.
Regular fit ➵ Order usual size
Room to grow and between sizes ➵ Size up
Oversized look ➵ Size up 1-2 sizes
For the best results, compare these measurements with a t-shirt you already own.
To view the exact measurements for a specific garment, please refer to the interactive Size Guide link located directly on each individual product listing. Use the guide below to understand how our garments fit, and how to calculate your perfect size at home.
HOW TO MEASURE
To find your perfect fit, take your favourite top that you already own, lay it flat on a table, and measure across the garment as shown in the diagram.
NOTE: These are half-chest measurements (measured across the front ONLY, not around the entire body).
To get the full circumference of the chest (the measurement all the way around your body), simply double the
Chest Width (A).
We provide half-chest measurements this way because it is more accurate, and easier to do at home. Attempting to measure the full circumference of a garment while it is laying flat often leads to inaccuracies due to the way fabric shifts/folds.
A - Chest Width: Measure horizontally across the top, just below the armpit seams from one side to the other.
B - Body Length: Measure vertically from the highest point of the shoulder at the collar seam, down to the bottom hem of the top.
C - Sleeve Length: Measure from the shoulder seam where the shoulder meets the sleeve, down to the end of the sleeve cuff.
AVOID SEAMS: For the most accurate result, do not include the seam allowance in your measurement, but instead measure from the very edge of the fabric.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the custom made-to-order nature of DTG printing, all dimensions listed on our product pages are subject to manufacturing tolerance of up to 2" (5 cm). The measurements are for guidance only and may vary slightly.
